it's my english media GCSE coursework. any suggestions how to improve? these are only the first few paragraphs. The action-thriller film ?The Prestige', which was made in 2006, was produced by three different people; William Tyler, Aaron Ryder and Emma Thomas. The film, which was directed by Christopher Nolan, stars actors such as Hugh Jackman as Angier, Christian Bale as Borden, Scarlett Johansson as Olivia, and Michael Cane as Cutter. The film's main plot consists of two cunning magicians, both trying to master the complex ?Transported Man' trick. Both will do anything to accomplish the trick. Angier clones himself every night, and then drowns the clone in a tank full of water, whereas Borden has a secret identical twin, masked as his assistant ?Fallon'. Both then take it in turns to be Boren and Fallon. Neither magician discovers the others secret until the very climax of the film, where a dying Boren tells Angier his secret. In this essay I will talk about what clues there are to us in the film that Borden has twin and Angier is cloning himself, as we do not find out until the end either. One clue which is significant in telling the audience that Boren is an identical twin is when Borden is demonstrating Sarah and her a nephew a magic trick in which he appears to make a bird and cage disappear into thin air, but Sarah's nephew understands what is happening, and exclaims “you killed it!” and cries. Then, Borden produces a perfectly alive and intact bird, to try and prove to the child that he didn't harm it. The boy then says “That's not him. Where's his brother?”. This shakes Borden slightly, as he thinks the child may have inadvertently discovered his secret. This clue is masked by Borden by him acting as though it hasn't affected him, and he carries on as he would normally do, but at the end of the film we discover that Borden is masking his nervousness. An essential clue in helping the audience realise that Angier is cloning himself is when, near the beginning of the film, we see a black cat being placed into a ?teleport' machine which Angier is paying John Cutter (played by Michael Caine) to construct for him. Cutter then test the machine by turning it on and, to Angier's disappointment, it appears that nothing has happened. However, the cat then runs out of the building, and Angier exits as well, only to see two identical cats sitting outside fighting. This shows us that the machine is, in fact, a cloning machine, but we think nothing of it, because Angier appears to be irritated with Cutter for building a machine that doesn't seem to work, though at the end we discover that Angier's machine that ?doesn't work' does indeed work perfectly, just as a cloning machine.

I'm trying to see how many true fans are out there since a lot of your showed up out of no where. Answer these questions: 1) What years did Tom Grieve play for Texas? 2) Where did the current Rangers team play before they came to Texas? 3) How many no hitters did Nolan have with Texas & when was he put into the HOF? 4) Whos nicknamed the Red Baron? 5) Who was the first Ranger to hit for the cycle? 6) What song is played at home when Texas plays and wins? If you can answer most of these questions, I'll consider you a fan. This is the ultimate test for all of you claiming to be fans. So far Greta is the one with the most right. Come one Texas fans!

If you guys hate on barry bonds, then you guys hate 90% of all MLB players. It has been said that 90% of players take a banned substance in baseball, JUST LIKE IT HAS BEEN SAID BONDS TOOK STEROIDS. You still need hand eye coordination to hit the ball, and bond's eye is the best ever. Also, "greenies" were around in aaron's time, so who knows if aaron popped a greeny. There werent any tests back then. Look at Roger Clemens. Jose Canseco said Roger Clemens took steroids, but no one is saying anything about him. Jose Canseco has said nothing about barry bonds, but still people hate him. Even Nolan Ryan cheated, but no one hates him either. Using spit on spitches to make them more effective, is just as bad as taking steroids. But no one says anything. Also, Babe Ruth, drank alcohol, a banned substance by mlb during his time. And Babe Ruth never played against black and latino players. Parks were also smaller, and few pitchers were great. So, stop hatin on barry bonds.

First question was a test. Real question, What were Rod Carew's stats against Nolan Ryan?
My 12 month year old little man has a "failure to thrive" meaning that as a 90th percentile baby up until 6 months of age for height and weight, has dropped off the charts at one year, negative 15% weight, negative 5% height. Plus he gets super sick all the time, pneumonia twice, gastroenteritis 3 times, 7 ear infections, pink eye 15! times... his fevers spike to 104 often. He eats like a horse and I am still breastfeeding him. We are not poor, and he is well cared for, this is NOT a matter of neglect. Right now I am awaiting the results of his lab tests from the mayo clinic, and I am worried sick. HIs head is growing..always been right at the 50th percentile. He is smart, says 15 or so words, recognizes more than that, and is starting to take a few steps. I just want some reassurring words or advice on how to deal with the waiting game on figuring out what is wrong. Or even just some prayers for my son. His name is Nolan.
